The Problem

You're already doing everything right. So why is your mind still this loud?

You're eating well. You're exercising. You've tried meditation apps, breathwork, group classes. You've read the books.

But the mental noise hasn't stopped. If anything, it's louder — because now you're frustrated that nothing is working. You're exhausted from trying. And some part of you wonders if you're just wired this way.

You're not. The problem isn't willpower or discipline or the wrong app. The problem is that you've never had a container for the mind — a structured, repeatable practice that trains stillness automatically, the way lifting trains muscle.

That's what Ashtanga Yoga does. And it's what nothing else you've tried was built to do.

🌀

I can't sit still long enough to meditate.

Meditation requires stillness you don't have yet. Ashtanga builds it through movement first.

🔄

I start and stop. Nothing ever sticks.

Without a progressive system and real accountability, motivation always collapses. That's not a character flaw.

😞

I do 3 hours of yoga and I'm still agitated.

Movement without method is just exercise. The calm needs a specific architectural structure.

📱

YouTube should be enough. But it's not.

More options without a clear sequence creates overwhelm, not progress.

Why Ashtanga

Why Ashtanga — and whythis method specifically.

Most yoga is reactive. You show up, follow along, feel good, go home. The next day you start from zero again.

Ashtanga Yoga is different. It's the same sequence, practised the same way, every single day. Breath, gaze, posture — moving in strict synchrony. That repetition is the point. Because when your body learns the sequence, your conscious mind quiets. The practice becomes the container. Stillness arrives not by force, but by design.

The Tristhana method (Ujjayi breath + Drishti + Bandha) gives the restless mind three things to lock onto simultaneously. You can't scroll, you can't ruminate, you can't be anywhere else. For the first time, presence becomes possible — not because you tried harder, but because the method made space for it.

01

Portable Consistency

Your practice isn't tied to a studio, a class time, or a specific mat. 20 minutes. A mat-sized space. Anywhere. The structure travels with you because it lives in your body, not in an app.

02

Balanced Power

Flexibility without strength creates instability — physically and mentally. The YMP builds the structural strength that protects joints, prevents injury, and builds the embodied confidence that bleeds into everything else.

03

Off-the-Mat Calm

The method trains the nervous system, not just the body. The evenness of mind that develops is structural — not a mood, not a good day. It becomes your new baseline.

Sushi Yogi

Ancient Roots. Modern Life.

More than a teacher. A lineage holder with a system.

I'm Sushi — E-RYT 500HR, trained at KPJAYI Mysore directly under Sharath Jois, one of the youngest Indians to complete the Ashtanga Intermediate Series. I hold an honours degree from the University of London, and have spent the better part of a decade delivering yoga to people on every continent — including refugee women in East Africa through UN/NGO partnerships.

I've delivered over 7,140 private sessions online. My method wasn't copied from a textbook — it was built by putting 30 people through 1:1 sessions, mapping exactly where every student got stuck, and designing the curriculum backwards from that data.

I'm not a wellness brand. I'm a practitioner and a teacher with a direct lineage and a very specific method. If your mind is restless and you want that to change structurally — not temporarily — this is what I built.
